These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed through the Silvanité online shop. By placing an order, the customer agrees to the version of the Terms & Conditions valid at the time of purchase.
Silvanité operates as a Swiss atelier and dispatches all products from Switzerland.
2. Products
All products are described as accurately as possible. Minor variations in colour, surface texture, or finish may occur due to the handmade nature of the candles and do not constitute defects.
Product images are for illustrative purposes.
3. Prices
All prices are listed in Swiss Francs (CHF).
As Silvanité is currently not VAT-registered, no VAT is charged.
Shipping within Switzerland is complimentary unless otherwise stated.
Silvanité reserves the right to change prices at any time. The price valid at the time of order applies.
4. Order & Contract Conclusion
An order is considered binding once the customer completes the checkout process and receives an order confirmation by email.
Silvanité reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders in exceptional cases (e.g., incorrect pricing, suspected misuse).
5. Payment
Payment methods offered in the online shop are displayed during checkout.
Payment is processed securely via Shopify and its integrated payment providers.
Orders are dispatched only after successful payment authorization.
6. Shipping & Delivery
Orders are shipped via Swiss Post.
Delivery within Switzerland typically takes up to 2 business days after dispatch.
Delivery times are estimates and not legally binding.
The risk transfers to the customer upon handover of the parcel to the shipping provider, unless otherwise required by law.
7. Returns
Unused candles in their original condition may be returned within 14 days of delivery.
Due to the intimate nature of fragrance products, opened or burned candles cannot be returned.
Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.
Customers must contact Silvanité prior to returning any item.
8. Defects & Damage
If a product arrives damaged or defective, the customer must notify Silvanité within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographic documentation.
In the event of a confirmed defect, Silvanité will offer replacement or refund in accordance with Swiss law.
9. Liability
Silvanité is liable only for damages caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
Silvanité is not liable for improper use of candles. Customers must follow provided safety and care instructions.
Candles must never be left unattended while burning.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including images, text, logos, and designs, is the intellectual property of Silvanité and may not be reproduced or used without prior written consent.
11. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Swiss law.
Place of jurisdiction is the registered place of business of Silvanité.
